Erik M. Hanson, PhD

Erik Hanson holds a BA, University of Colorado, Boulder; an MA, Ancient Philosophy, Bristol University; an MPhil, Kings College London; and his PhD from Purdue University. Erik specializes in Philosophy of Religion and Nineteenth Century Philosophy, particularly Kant, Kierkegaard, and German Idealism. However, he is also interested in Existentialism, Virtue Theory, and Philosophy and Technology. He is currently researching Kierkegaard’s theory of the self and absolute moral categories.
