Joseph Kuzma is a C3 Innovation Fellow.  He holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy and Literature from the University of Warwick (England).

Kuzma is the author of four books: 

  • CRUX: Radical Philosophy and the Scandal of the Cross (Forthcoming, Cascade Books)
  • Philosophy in the Holodeck: Thinking Critically About the Emerging Technology (Kendall Hunt, 2022) 
  • Maurice Blanchot and Psychoanalysis (Brill, 2019)
  • The Eroticization of Distance:  Nietzsche, Blanchot, and the Legacy of Courtly Love (Lexington, 2016)

He is the Associate Director of the UCCS Honors Program and he serves on the Executive Committee of the UCCS-Interdisciplinarity and Complexity Oriented Researchers and Educators (UCCS-ICORE).
