Professional Summary
After graduating with a double major in economics and philosophy (Lake Forest College) and an MA and PhD in the philosophy of science (Boston University), I accepted a position in the philosophy department at UCCS in 1986. Since then I chaired the department occasionally and been involved in starting and participating in new programs across the college (from the humanities to legal studies) and founding the AAUP chapter on campus (the largest in Colorado).
